Call of Duty: Vanguard’s alpha is officially live for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, featuring the recently announced Champion Hill feature. This new multiplayer mode looks like a mix of Gunfight and Battle Royale, with the twins competing in a series of rounds to be the last team to stand.
. Basically, Champion Hill is a more chaotic and strategic Gunfight tournament. Champion Hill combines four small maps to create a large arena, where duet players compete in 60-second rounds of a Deathmatch tournament against other teams. Each group starts with a total of 12 lives. In Champion Hill, players want to advance to the rounds and work to eliminate all other teams’ lives to zero before their team is eliminated.
All teams start with the same load with a pistol and a gun. However, some better tools can be obtained by collecting cash and using Market Stations. All players start with $ 500 in cash and more money can be earned in the rounds by eliminating players and earning cash on the map.
There are four Market Stations that can be used during the “Buy Rounds”, which are phases that occur between each of the three battle rounds. Each Market Station offers something different. Players can choose whether they want to spend cash on privileges, shooting, equipment such as armor or better weapons.
